Spark 'n Spin Newsletter - 12/23/25

I bet you’re appalled that the next newsletter is here this soon! And thankfully, no, this isn’t a joke, nor a fake-out! However, don’t expect much content here. N8 is the real big one. It’s got content GALORE. In fact, I’ve been so excited to write the newsletters more regularly, that I’ve already got a basic draft of N8 done. Hooray! Expect a bit of a mini-update.

If you were expecting a surprise FTE demo link, tough luck, buddy. Again, to clarify- there will be no links to anything until N8 or maybe even N9.

In better news...

FTE is CONCRETELY starting marketing AND releasing the demo BEFORE JAN 1st!!! I can, with 98% certainty, guarantee this will happen! So hopefully, I can wrap it up by mid-January and officially release it. My target is before Jan 15th, but there’s no certainty regarding that right now.

For Toytown, I really don’t have much to say here that won’t spoil too much or restate what I’m going to tell you in N8. Unfortunately, you will have to wait until N8 before getting more information on Toytown. I’ve got lore info, timeline info, AND more on the important person that I can share. Not until N8 though! Most likely, you can expect N8 by… when I told you. Cmon, people! Wake up! I’ve already mentioned this far too many times!

I’d like to give a shout-out to the most annoying feature of safari: “automatic memory management”. I’ve still been unable to rename either page (due to intensive memory use, Safari keeps force-reloading the page before I can save!) and creating this one was another excruciating hour. Not writing it- creating the page. Yeah. It’s that bad.

Anyways, I can finally confirm that, yes, Dungeon Mode WILL be hosting a public but extremely limited demo and beta test of the version I’m currently working on. This requires two parts: demand, and development. I.E, we need enough hype around the game to select from an adequate pool for the beta, and the development needs to be done (this’ll be a content-only beta). My target is early Feb, but who knows if it’ll even happen? Development is a bit under target, so we’ll have to see. Regardless, it’s unlikely you specifically will be part of the beta.

Enjoy the mini-update, folks, and have a great rest of your day.
