Well, it's been a while! And I have a few important updates.

 

Firstly, the OST is DONE! And has been for a while, actually. I'm also looking to start pushing these newsletters through a new discord, which we plan to promote soon. The reason I'm mentioning this now is that I wanted to have a few people give it a listen first. I might post some of the tier lists or just do that larger scale when the discord comes out. Regardless, there's now also a playtest trailer for the game. It's short, but it basically gives you an idea of what the game is like. However, I want to move it from my personal channel to a new dedicated FewTileEffort promotion channel. 

 

Also, the game is entirely done! Yep, that's right. All the levels in the game are complete, and most of the polish is as well. There are some minor things to polish and things to add (to the Level Editor specifically) but overall, I can officially say the game is complete. Which means that now, we're moving into the marketing and playtesting phase. Honestly, this has been long overdue- the game has been in development for nearly two years! But better late then never, eh?

Also: Sad update. Hex Gems v2 is taking a pause for a while while we focus on our video game projects. Unfortunetely we just do not have the budget to launch the product and have been experiencing significant hiccups. But that DOES mean all of our v2 budget is going into the marketing of FewTileEffort. We really need this to be a success to be able to maintain our studio.

I will tease a few things about the OST now. It's 45 tracks long. Wow! I did not ever expect it to get that much. I was having so much fun building it, and it just kept being extended... eventually I had to decide to stop myself to maintain my sanity and to stop me from making 100 tracks that never get shown in game. Ha! Also, a couple of song names! (Not in any particular order).
