Spark 'n Spin Newsletter - 12/16/25

Wow! For once, I actually managed to follow up and put out a regular update.

Don't get your hopes up, though. This newsletter is split up into two parts- which i'll call N5 and N6 for simplicity's sake- and one of those parts isn't releasing for another few hours. Even MORE unfortunately, this one is the smaller and more uninteresting of the two, but regardless, I think it's important that I update everyone on the... general "goings-on". Whatever that means.

We'll start with the most up-and-coming project: FewTileEffort! Big news for this one: An official DEMO is going live later this month! And we have confirmed that we will be launching soon. Now, what exactly "soon" means depends on your definition of the word... but rest assured! We're planning to begin marketing, rollout, and community development ASAP, so (and don't take this as set in stone!!!) we are hoping to release by January 2026. It's so exciting given how soon it is, but! There is still a chance it might get delayed.

Oh, of course, how could I forget... Dungeon Mode implementation is underway! I've officially begun the programming phase and am on track to complete a functional version of the game by early-mid January, so look out for an update on that! Unfortunately, this will be a limited-access version only. That means the majority of you will have to wait until mid-late 2026 (when we're hoping to start early access) to try the game out. The content is essentially set in stone, so I might reveal more about that sometime in January. I cannot wait for you all to try Dungeon Mode... I'm very proud of it! The game is looking to be very fun... but fair warning, you might become addicted.

Toytown? Yes, that's still a thing. Progress is steady! Someone very important to the project has almost certainly joined (we're still not certain, but I'm pretty confident!) back the project for good. This means our progress and updates will be more certain... and maybe we can start adding images to the newsletters? (NO PROMISES!) The story is in a very good state right now, and I believe it has lots of promise. WHICH is why I want to aim for a later pitching window (such as early-mid 2028) so that the story can be airtight and we can secure a studio as soon as possible.

And we've met the end once again. Tune back later today for that N6 Newsletter! And maybe look out for Nial's first newsletter soon...?
